Future of Web Design NY 2010 Recap

The (mt) events team made our annual FOWD pilgrimage to NYC this month to be inspired by the excellent speakers and chat with our East Coast clientele. As always our friends and partners on team Carsonified continue to push quality content to the hungry web design masses.
Popular topics this year included CSS3/HTML 5 usage, design for multiple platforms and general design business principals with talks from some of the best speakers in the business. We were lucky to catch some of the speakers on film talking about their deepest designer secrets and desires, and how today’s web affects their work. In Part 1 we talk web fonts, HTML5 and CSS3.

This is awesome, really nice work! I do a lot of video editing, so I know how tough it can sometimes be to put all this together.

I think Paul Boag got the right answer to the favourite font question. What was the font Sarah Parmenter referred to? Didn’t catch the name.

I think the phrase Paul was looking for was ‘I reject the premise of the question’… +10 for the first one who posts the source of the quote! Amazing work though – thanks for putting this together! It was a whole lot of fun being a part of it. Nick still has my favorite line, but I don’t think that’ll come until Part 2.
