Your Chance to See “Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview”

Steve Jobs (1955-2011) was an innovator, businessman and pioneer of personal computing. His vision and execution have pushed not only PC and personal device design, but the way we interact with technology on a whole. He’s been a huge influence in the (mt) offices (We are a Mac:) often inspiring the question, “How would Apple do this?”

Recently, a tape was recovered of what was thought to be a lost interview conducted by Bob Cringely in 1995. It has been decided this piece of history will be shared with you in a limited series of showings at Landmark Theatres around the US. Read the rest of this entry »

Iteration of the Lean Meetings Concept

The Personal Kanban blog ran a great pair of articles on “Lean Meetings” (part 1part 2.) I recommend reading through them to get more context for what follows, but I’ll re-share one of the biggest insights: the point of a meeting is to have a conversation. Pre-set agendas feel like best practice, but they can get in the way of that ‘true goal’ more often than not. After having orchestrated a few meetings using this idea, some helpful practices have emerged, which seemed worth sharing.

Thanks to your support, we’ve been honored with TWO major awards in the past few weeks.

Deloitte & Touche announced that (mt) Media Temple made their Technology Fast 500, a list of the top 500 North American companies based on percentage of revenue growth between 2006-2010. Also this month, Inc. Magazine released their list of the Inc. 5000. For the the 5th year, (mt) was honored as one of the fastest growing companies in 2010.
