Isabel used data from Compete, Alexa, Quantcast and MS Ad Center Labs to create this handy chart showing the results of her host traffic comparison.

[…] This year, Media Temple brought out the biggest challenge to mainstream hosting in the form of their Grid Server. I was pretty damn chuffed when I signed up and in turn got a rebate on my charges along with a huge boost to storage and bandwidth. They now offer Rails hosting and have also launched several venture companies which appear to be doing very well. The Account Center has been drastically improved and their now sporting a spiffy blog to get their customers interested. They’ve really taken a hold on the market I think and next year should see them continuing to challenge the likes of GoDaddy, although looking at their big-name client list they seem to be looking for a more heavy-weight type of customer.
