New Features:
- faster performance
- enhanced email searching

- improved address book importing & management
- better html email viewing & editing
- hundreds of minor bug fixes
- now powered by PHP
All Grid-Service customers may immediately begin using this upgraded version by visiting yourdomain.com/webmail, webmail.yourdomain.com or by clicking through the AccountCenter. Ummm, Question. Isn’t @Mail now at version 5.06? I don’t want to sound like I’m nagging or anything why not just upgrade to the latest version?

Great question Andre. The reason we’re on 5.0.4 has to do with the number of customizations we have to make to the @mail software in order for it to function correctly on the Grid. Implementing all of these customizations combined with the rapid pace the @mail team releases new versions is the reason why we’re going to be a few rev levels behind @mail releases. If it was a drop-in replacement things might be different, but in this case it’s not. I hope that answers your question.

Apparently the new design seen in the screenshot is only for the ‘Simple’ versions (both AJAX and non-AJAX). The ‘Advanced’ versions (for either IE or Mozilla) still sport the same look. Had me a bit confused there at first…
