Quick update on the on-going roll out of our new SmartPool v.2 system. There was a slight delay moving forward with the required upgrades to our database servers. Our system engineers took extra time to optimize the process so customer databases can be smoothly transitioned without downtime. The very first Grid-Server customers should experience the new system in the next couple of days followed by everyone else over the next few weeks, into May.

The MySQL Slow Query Log is now available to all MySQL Container beta testers! The information this resource makes available is already proving to be an excellent starting point for optimizing applications for greater MySQL performance. Access to the Slow Query Log will soon be available on-demand from the MySQL Container controls page in the AccountCenter. To gain access to this log sooner please open a support request and a technician will personally email you a copy of your Slow Query Log.
Happy Beta Tester Quote:
“Thank you very much for looking into this. It shows you how invaluable the slow query log is.” … “It’s a huge benefit and selling point that comes out of having isolated mysql servers for each customer.” … “Looks like I’ve got one unoptimized sql query that’s killing everything.”
