(mt) Tweetologists Recognized in USA Today

Friday, June 26th, 2009 at 3:10 pm

A few months back, we made a decision to ramp up our Twitter presence as part of our obsessive need to be transparent. Our main focus was on helping customers however and wherever we could. This led to building a 24/7 team of tweetologists — at the ready in the twitterverse.

Today, we’re proud to see the work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Our CEO was quoted in USA Today alongside corporate giants Comcast, Pepsi, JetBlue, Whole Foods, Starbucks & SalesForce.com. And, it’s worth noting, (mt) was the only web host interviewed.

“If you’re trying to hide from your customers, don’t use Twitter,” says Demian Sellfors, CEO of Media Temple, a Web-hosting service. “We want to know what our customers think, both good and bad. That’s a good thing.”

Much love to our Twitter team and USA Today for the mention!
