Since (mt) has hosted it for two years, we knew ‘07 was the biggest elfing season ever. Today, Advertising Age chimed in with a great elfyourself.com article and video showing how it’s become the all-time, record breaking, viral sensation to date.

One in 10 Americans visited elfyourself.com to make 122 million elves this holiday season (that doesn’t include what we saw for scroogeyourself.com). For (mt), it was exciting to see the stats surge and our (dpv) Nitro’s stream holiday fun for all (we’ll have a case study online soon).

We’d like to say thanks to the teams at Office Max, Toy and the wizards at EVB for choosing (mt) as their trusted hosting provider. For two years in a row, it’s been a pleasure working with them and we’re proud to be a part of internet history.

When the time came to move our business from a shared hosting environment to a dedicated space, the first company we thought of was Media Temple. Considering the e-commerce nature of our site, any downtime would have constituted lost revenue, so moving our entire operation was hardly a small task. Media Temple was there for us, and helped make it happen without skipping a beat. Couldn’t be more pleased.

We’ve been fans of the excellent work coming from Dominey Design for some time now and are excited to have this hosted with us. SlideShowPro is housed on one of our (dv) Dedicated-Virtual servers.

(mt) partner Nick Finck (Digital Web Magazine) and his friends at Blueflavor (also a client) have launched a very cool iPhone app called Leaflets. It looks like we’re not the only ones who like it, Mike at Techcrunch called Leaflets a “Must Have” app after seeing a demo from Mike Davidson at Newsvine.

Putting aside how cool this app is, we saw this round robin of 4 (mt) users and thought all of our hardworking clients developing iPhone apps deserve a mention. So, if you’re working on one, drop us a line in the comments below and we’ll do a nice big roundup post featuring your iPhone apps.

Paul broke into the Technorati 100 on Friday the 13th (insert Stammy the slasher joke here) and we think this won’t be the last time. So, if you know him or appreciate his writing, drop him a line to say congrats.

Our clients Diesel and Far Far have long prided themselves by standing out and doing things differently. Diesel’s online presence and Far Far’s work have held that tune exceptionally well.

The “HEIDIES 15 MB OF FAME” campaign, promoting the launch of Diesel’s new “Intimate” line of apparel, recently won the prestigious Grand prix Cyber Lions award at Cannes. The underwear-clad “HEIDIES,” two models holed up in a hotel room with a “kidnapped” Diesel manager, “hi-jacked” the Diesel website to stream live video to users of their dubious plan unfolding.

Admittedly, This campaign certainly had us scratching our heads. “Are we showing some sort of hack here?? No, everything ‘looks’ secure, but is this the new Diesel site?” A quick phone call and we were straightened out, and duly impressed.

Since we are helping out with MySkitch, we already knew how cool Plasq’s new app was and it looks like our friends at TechCrunch agree. Congrats to the team at Plasq on a great product and another great review.
