Paul Stamatiou breaks into the Technorati Top 100!

Saturday, July 14th, 2007 at 6:25 am

Like a dad who’s proud of their kid, we love to see partners and clients go from infancy to great heights, it sounds cliché but it makes what we do worthwhile.

Paul broke into the Technorati 100 on Friday the 13th (insert Stammy the slasher joke here) and we think this won’t be the last time. So, if you know him or appreciate his writing, drop him a line to say congrats.

Diesel Wins at Cannes

Diesel Wins at Cannes

Our clients Diesel and Far Far have long prided themselves by standing out and doing things differently. Diesel’s online presence and Far Far’s work have held that tune exceptionally well.

The “HEIDIES 15 MB OF FAME” campaign, promoting the launch of Diesel’s new “Intimate” line of apparel, recently won the prestigious Grand prix Cyber Lions award at Cannes. The underwear-clad “HEIDIES,” two models holed up in a hotel room with a “kidnapped” Diesel manager, “hi-jacked” the Diesel website to stream live video to users of their dubious plan unfolding.

Admittedly, This campaign certainly had us scratching our heads. “Are we showing some sort of hack here?? No, everything ‘looks’ secure, but is this the new Diesel site?” A quick phone call and we were straightened out, and duly impressed.

JFK, The Peace Corps and Kiva.org

We’d like to take a moment on JFK’s birthday–the creator of the Peace Corps–to shine a light on one of our clients; kiva.org. If you haven’t heard about them yet, they are the only non-profit micropayment organization who’s helping the world’s working poor through your loans. You contribute and interact with members requesting business loans, and they pay the loans back and build a future for themselves in their developing nation.

Amazing as the Peace Corps is, we think kiva.org is equally remarkable as a technological high-water mark in the challenge to better our world.
